International Astrology Day 2020

Astrology Day 2021

International Astrology Day in the year 2021 will be celebrated on March 20th this year.

Even in today’s fast-paced life, people rely on astrology readings to get guidance in their daily life. International Astrology Day is celebrated with great passion amongst the Vedic astrology followers as well as western astrologers.

Astrology is a vast subject and has several branches. As far as Indian Vedic astrology is concerned, it is practiced by astrologers for all day to day occasions and most important events like naming after childbirth, matchmaking for marriage, muhurta deciding for buying a new house, car, and properties, several remedies for Grahas in the Horoscope and so on. Hora, Muhurtha, Naadi Astrology, Jaimini Sutras, Nasta Jaatakam, Stree Jaatakam, Ank Jyotisha / Kabala are the most popular classifications of Vedic Astrology.

Vedic astrology is based on the position of Moon in the house, whereas Western astrology is all about sun-sign which considers only the individual’s date of birth, based on the position of the Sun on the day of birth. Both Vedic and Western Astrology considers the zodiac constellations for predictions.

In the year 1993, the association for astrological networking declared the International Astrology Day, which is most often observed on either March 20 or March 21 annually, though it varies from March 19 to match 22 as it is marked as the first full day of the zodiac sign of Aries and the beginning of the tropical Zodiac. The same is recently observed and is been replaced by “Astrology Awareness Weekends”.

Astrologers consider the day to be the beginning of the new astrological year! Astrologers and astrology enthusiasts across the globe celebrate this day to mark their affection towards the much ancient and mystic, occult, parascience and to celebrate the practice of Astrology. This day is also the Iranian New Year (Norouz), which is celebrated in India along with the Middle East and Central Asia. Similarly, Ostara, Chunfen, and Vernal Equinox Day are also marked on the same day which is important holidays in Japan, China, and other countries.

In today’s technology-savvy world, people worldwide attend such seminars, virtually through webinars and social media means, indeed it is a day to celebrate! The recent appellation of Astrology Awareness Weekends makes much sense in today’s time as the hashtags going on social media, Facebook pages, videos on YouTube are making the generation aware of the scientific side of the vast subject of Astrology rather than spreading the misconception and false belief.

Astrology has all the powers to guide you, provide remedies, and make you mentally prepared for the unforeseen events of life by its predictions, thus letting you face all the ups and downs of life with a positive approach.
