From 06:41 Gemini to 20:00 Gemini lies Ardra nakshatra the 6th nakshatra among the nakshatras. This star belongs to the Orion constellation known in modern astronomy as Betelguese (Al/pha-Orionis). The ancient Vedic seers saw this bright red star as being the abode of Rudra, the fierce red form of Shiva. The word Ardra means, “Moist” which is in the clouds which also signify the rain. It can even mean tears where when it falls, new emotions, events and new decisions in life. This nakshatra’s symbol is tear drop, deity is Rudra and ruling planet is Rahu.

People who belong to Ardra are very emotional and they can even go obsessive. The deity is Rudra and it means these people are great transformers and intense people. Moreover, they are ruled by Rahu, this planet also signifies obsession.  Ardra is a female nakshatra even though the deity is a male figure.

Rudra is also seen as the Storm God by some Vedic texts, which again points towards a sense of commotion and upheaval. Rudra also signifies chaos, disorder, confusion, anarchy, and havoc. So these people may generally face a lot of transformations in their life.
