Yoga of Widowhood

1) Mars in the 7th house aspected by malefic in the female horoscope.

2) Mars associated with malefics in the ascendant, 2, 4, 7, 8 or 12th houses.

3) Strong malefic planets in the aforesaid houses.

4) Malefic Rahu in the 8th and 12th houses.

5) Weak and malefic Moon in 6th or 8th houses.

6) 7th and 8th lords aspected by malefics and exchanging places.

7) The aspect of malefic lords of 6th and 8th houses on the 6th and 12th houses.

8) An exalted and strong malefic planet in the 8th.

9) A malefic planet in the 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 12 houses of the ascendant or the Moon.

10) Mars and Rahu in the 7th and 8th houses.

11) Ascendant or Moon hemmed in between malefics.

12) Malefic planets in the ascendant and seventh house.

13) Or the lord of 8th in the 7th house with malefic aspect.

If there are such planetary conjunctions in the female horoscope widowhood is likely.

1) The presence of an equally strong planet as Mars in the male horoscope.  (When horoscopes are matched, for the strong Mars in the 8th house of the female horoscope, having a correspondingly strong malefic planet in the 7th house of the male horoscope.)

2) The presence of a benefic planet in the 7th house from ascendant or the Moon along with the presence of the lord of the house.

3) The presence of strong lord of the 7th house in exalted or beneficial position.

4) The location of benefic planets in the 9th house from the ascendant.

In these cases, the yoga of widowhood will be nullified.
